School Lunch Break

Chase! There! There it is! Jake burst through the brush to catch his rabbit. He leaped at it, killing it immediately.
He growled happily as he started to eat his catch. Good job, Keni... He thought to himself, wagging his tail. He called his wolf-self that often. He had dumped his stuff at his house to go hunt. It was a welcome break from school, and that vampire girl.... A nice catch, I'm going to run it off...maybe chase a squirrel... He wagged his tail in anticipation. Yes. Squirrel.

Jake sat up. Bird feathers were all around him. He hadn't caught the bird, but it was fun trying. He glanced down at his foreleg, studying the watch still there. About an hour left... i better head back. Jake hopped up and darted off for home.
